buddy has been at war with the bugs for weeks — not sure what it is, but some little critters are slowly eating away all of our big palm leaves (those ugly black and orange flying buggers? mites? ants? what are you?!!). there have been an assortment of sprays used but she’s convinced nothing’s working.
so now it’s my turn. i’ve planted myself (ha!) in the bark at the foot of one of our big plants and am just going to wait the culprit out. like the great pumpkin.

the sun made a brief appearance this morning as buddy was cooking breakfast so i found a good sunny spot and hunkered down to supervise the kitchen and take in a few golden rays.

they say that michael phelps works out at least 6 hours a day when he’s training. me, i wait til somebody enters my sphere of stare(tm) and dutifully work out my beg face each and every time an opportunity arises — whether you’ve got something to beg for or not. even though i already consider myself a master i’m convinced the daily practice is making me, well, kinda perfect at this begging thing.
