we have a lot of trees and plants at the house that do more than simply stand there being cute (because, let’s face it, that’s sorta my job in these parts). a bunch of them actually make stuff to eat, and some of it’s a little surprising. like this one — what do you suppose those big fruits are? grapefruit?

it’s PONDEROSA LEMON! yes, a LEMON! that BIG! makes my teeth hurt just looking at ‘em.
