off leash!
in the past seven years, i’ve been let off my leash only a handful of times. and look, i get it — people are scared of my breed, i’m way too excitable for my own good, and after living on the streets for awhile i picked up some really shitty social skills. i’m not mad at ya for it, and appreciate all the care that’s taken in keeping me out of potentially bad situations, but when that blue moon hits and i’m able to really stretch my legs without anyone worrying about me running away or scaring someone… it’s a little slice of dog heaven i tells ya.
we spent the week at a cabin in the smoky mountains — really cool place, lots of piles of leaves to roll around in and a nice big fire to snore in front of at night — and i got to run around naked during the day (at night once too, but i took a detour and spent a little too long in the woods, so that got nixed. whatever, the sun shining is my jam anyway).
